- Details: This vintage oval shape brooch features a dark, amethyst-tone cabochon / jelly stone within a bronze color cut-leaves mount. The style could be Art Deco, Art Nouveau, even Victorian, suitable for many styles, but the brooch is definitely 20th Century. We have seen similar cabochon brooches and very similar frames (with accents at four points) by LSP (L.S. Peterson Co. 1939-1975), this could be one of their unmarked pieces. The amethyst color is perfect for adding a touch of fall to any outfit. Great addition to your jewelry collection.
