This fabulous Sterling Silver Frog brooch is circa 1900.

The brooch displays lovely silver workmanship with illusion set back and green Paste eyes.

His back is studded to look like Diamonds in Silver, a fabulous piece of Victorian workmanship.

Paste is a heavy, very transparent flint glass that stimulates the fire and brilliance of gemstones, the Romans in particular were very skilful in the production of coloured glass pastes.

This is a unique Frog brooch that is steeped in English history and a must for any Frog lover.

The Frog weighs 8.7 grams.

The Frog measures including legs and arms 32mm down x 35mm across.

The eyes measure 3mm down x 3mm across.
